History of Dillsburg, PA, 1901 - 1950 |
The lumber yard was run as Atticks and Britcher (John Atticks and George L. Britcher) from 1886 to 1893, when Atticks retired or died. In 1893 a new partnership was formed between Britcher and Michael Bender. After Michael died of a stroke in 1906, his wife, Amelia Schaeffer Bender, ran the business for several months, before turning it over to her son-in-law, J. J. Klugh. |
