From Wilmette Life, 26 Feb 1926, page 31 Mrs. Georgia Rayburn Herlocker, wife of Elbert Raymond Herlocker, 411 Prairie avenue, died at her home on Tuesday of last week. Funeral services were held from the Rogers Park Methodist Episcopal church, of which she was a member, on Thursday afternoon and burial was at the Memorial Park cemetery. Mrs. Herlocker was born in Dayton, Iowa, on March 28, 1893. She was a graduate and post-graduate of the Columbia school of music and was later a member of the faculty of that school for four years. She was a member of the P. E. O. and of the Mu Phi Epsilon sorority. She had been director of music at the Rogers Park Methodist Episcopal church for the past five years. Mrs. Herlocker is survived by her husband, an infant son, William Robert, her mother, Mrs. Martha Nettles of Dayton, Iowa, and three sisters and two brothers. She had been a resident of Wilmette for the past year and a half. |
