| Online obituary of Carol Morrison. Carol H. Morrison of LaGrange, Illinois, died on Sunday, April 22, of natural causes. She was 87. Mrs. Morrison was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1924, the daughter of the late Sarah Elizabeth Houston Herlocker and Harwood Oxley Herlocker. She attended Sullivan High School in Rogers Park, and married her high school sweetheart, Alan Morrison, as soon as he returned from active duty in the United States Army in1946. He predeceased her. Mrs. Morrison is survived by 3 children; Kenneth Morrison (Julie) of Bolingbrook, Ann Riggs (Randy) of Indpls.,IN, and Peter (Brenda) of Elgin, as well as her brother, Harwood Herlocker (Mary Jane) of Wilmette. She was the proud grandmother of: Carolyn, William, and Susan Riggs and Michael and Jamie Morrison. Mrs. Morrison was a P.E.O., a member of the D.A.R., and always active in her church as a past deacon and elder and womens' association member. She will be remembered by her family as a devoted mother, wife, and friend, and a wonderful grandmother. A memorial service will be held at the Presbyterian Church of Western Springs, on May 5th at 10:30. Memorial donations can be made in her name to your favorite charity or to the Presbyterian Church of Western Springs.
